M.I.T.E. for Families is a drama troupe composed of 11 enthusiastic children and one *mite*y clever director dedicated to keeping children's theatre alive.
Janice Cruddas began this troupe with a purpose. To introduce children to the wonderful world of theatre. To help the actors and the audience keep the innocent wonder and delight of childhood alive. To help children see theatre as something that is dynamic and accessible.
The children were an integral part of making this script a reality. They work-shopped many of the fables in the play, creating some of the humour along the way. Janice had good material to work with and plenty of inspiration of her own. Thus, "A Wee Drop of Aesop" was born.
